Terms of Service

What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

Context is a desktop application and a service behind it that transcribes your calls and coaches you through them. These terms cover both.

Last updated 1 September 2026

Agreement

These terms are between you and RTCH Foundry ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Context, you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.

Your account

You need an account so usage can be counted against a plan. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Accounts are for a named person. Do not share one across a team, or resell access to it.

Licence to use the software

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Context application for as long as these terms are in effect. You may use it for personal or commercial work.

You may not resell the application, present it as your own product, or work around metering, quotas or billing. The Context name, logo and this website's design remain ours.

Calls, plans and billing

Context charges for the time it spends transcribing and assisting on a live call. Capturing material, building a thread and asking questions against it are not charged for.

  • New accounts get 30 minutes of free call time, with no card and no reduced feature set.
  • A paid plan covers a month of client calls. Time beyond it is charged for what you actually used.
  • Current rates are shown at sign-up and in the app before you are charged.
  • We may change rates or what a plan includes. Changes apply from your next billing period, and we will tell you first.

If a payment fails we may pause recording and assistance until it is settled. The application keeps working on what is already on your disk.

Recording, and the law where you are

Context can record your microphone and your computer's audio output, which means it can record the other people on a call. Laws on recording conversations differ by country and by state, and many require the consent of everyone involved.

Deciding whether you may lawfully record a given conversation, and obtaining any consent required, is entirely your responsibility. Recording is never automatic: you start it yourself.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Context to:

  • Capture, record or process material you have no right to capture, record or process.
  • Record people unlawfully, or in breach of a duty of confidence you owe them.
  • Break the law, infringe someone's rights, or violate your AI provider's usage policies.

Your data is your responsibility

Your threads live on your computer and nowhere else. That means we cannot recover them for you. Backups, disk failures, lost devices and accidental deletion are yours to plan for. The app can write archives to a folder or to Google Drive, and we recommend turning that on.

Availability and accuracy

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.

Transcription and coaching are produced by models and can be wrong. Treat what the assistant says as a prompt for your own judgement, not as legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and do not rely on a transcript as a verbatim record.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of Context. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. Cancelling ends future billing; time already used is not refunded, and what a plan included does not carry over. The application keeps working on what is already on your disk.

Changes

We may change these terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page and, where they affect what you pay or what you may do, told to you directly.
